Has Free Music Zilla stopped working? I've used the program quite often, and it's great, but now it doesn't seem to recognize when mypsace is playing something. I updated to the latest version, but still no luck. Did myspace change something? Any ideas?
FMZ 2.x does not work with myspace or last.fm anymore.

MySpace now encrypts its transmissions with the server when requesting songs. As such, FreeMusicZilla is no longer compatible with MySpace. A fix is needed!
I cannot get FMZ to work with Pandora now, the files it is catching are called "access" and are unrecognized. Also isn't working with Project Playlist?

OK for 1 this thing does not work.
It does not grab audio at all.
And if you try to rip audio off of a video it only get it in flv format not mp3
So this is not even an audio ripper at all.
So you cant "download Music" with this thing.

2.0 does work on IMEEM but not myspace. I used it today in xp on firefox and was able to convert it to mp3. Do a little research people. Google can find you anything!
Using Chrome XD works just fine, FLV can be converted to MP3 you numnuts

Since I've downloaded IE8, FMZ doesn't work anymore, whatever the website is (YouTube, Deezer, Radioblog, Dailymotion...).
In "Monitoring" ("preferences") the part "Browser" doesn't work.

hey! as sameone proposed, i set up FMZ to monitor the IEXPLORE.exe. after that IE didn't load the myspace player and gave me an error message instead, until i closed FMZ. it somehow recognises that FMZ is monitoring it. the same story with firefox, but it does not load the whole page, not just the player. please fix it!

For some reason when I try Free Music Zilla wth IMEEM, it doesn't work anymore. Are they still compatible? It doesn't seem to know wen the music is playing, and nothing pops up to signal when I'm ready to download.

DA... just d'load FMZ.. it work on IE8,Mozilla etc.. dont just talk rubbish here.. if u cant use it with IE8.. u need to do a little modification.. open tool>preferences>monitoring... click on custom and browse to ur IE folder.. then click on ur iexplorer.exe then press ok. restart ur FMZ and u are ready to d'load.. just use Media Player Classic to convert flv to mp3.. u can google it or search on youtube how to do it.. ONLY AUDIO!!

I have used Free Music Zilla for a few months now and it worked perfectly. However, I recently had to reformat my computer to its factory settings, and now it disables IE7 when the two programs are open at the same time. If I close the FMZ, IE works normally. I've changed my AV program, I've updated FMZ, and I've changed my FMZ program preferences to monitor iexpore.exe. I'm feeling really frustrated because I know FMZ can work, I just don't know why it isn't working now when everything about my computer is nearly the same as it was before. I know I don't have a virus. I just reformated, as I said, and if I did have virus I would have had it before the format as well.
I know other people have had this problem, or a similar problem, but I can't find any hint of a real solution yet. If there is any way to get it working properly again please let me know. I really enjoy using this program and would hate to have to try something else that probably wouldn't be as good anyway.

just use Media Player Classic to convert (flv) to (mp3).. open MPC..
click on File > Utils > DSM Converter... drop or Add flv audio file(s).. right click on audio > Demux... and save as mp3 format.. if u think this steps is very hard.. just rename it.. LoL..
